My first Oversea wedding assignment experience
During my recent Australia trip, I have been travelled to Brisbane & Gold Coast. It’s a great experience to conduct photography session alone in a country I never been before for three days. Yes, it’s indeed the most tiring assignment I ever done before. However, everything it’s worth. I appreciate the hospitality of Soh’s family & Susan’s family. Thanks for all the arrangement, food, transportation, accommodation & etc.
This is Susan’s mother. She was the one who prepared my breakfast & lunch almost everyday.
My lovely clients, Ben & Susan, I will miss you ~ can’t wait to show you the photographs I took for you both. All the best to you and wish you both have a great newlywed life!
This was the scenery from the room I stayed. I was treated one night stay at Surfer Paradise, Gold Coast! Yes, It’s a great place for a swimmer like me! I hope I could spend more time there. People started to swim at 4.30am!! I was impressed!

Todays,I will travel to the east coast of Australia , Brisbane from 11 Dec 09 till 15 Dec 2009 . Thanks Susan & Ben for engaging me as their wedding photographer. It’s my prides & honour by shooting their coming wedding. I just can’t wait for the wedding as it’s my first wedding assignment in Australia. I appreciate the opportunity given and would like to thanks for their arrangement. I am giving one night stay at Gold Coast, the surfers paradise, before I leave to KL. It will be great stay! In addition, the ceremony is going to be held at HERE. It’s indeed a great location, a award winning location! We will have one day engagement & bridal photography session before their wedding and a post wedding photography session after their wedding event. I am sure able to visit some nice spots for their photographs! I hope I able to see the stars of Australia, kangaroo and Koala, and take some nice photographs with them! I feel so grateful for the arrangement made by my client, Susan & Ben and I am touched by their offer and trust. I will do my best in this trip. It’s will be a new starting point for my photography career and I will plan for the next visit there.
#PS: Special thanks to Robin Ng who refer the client to me. I appreciate it a lot.
Furthermore I will travel to Singapore from 10 Jan to 13 Jan 2010 for the registration of marriage of Frances & her fiance. We know each other from my previous client. Thanks for their trust on my service and I really appreciate it. We will have another session for their engagement photography after the ceremony.
For those who stay in Brisbane, Gold Coast or Singapore and wish to have a drink or even shoot with me, feel free to contact me. Perhaps you can be my tour guide, hehe, just a joke… I will spend a lot of “first time” in these locations. It will be awesome! Stay tune for my blog post for their wedding!

New Investment : 5D MkII + 17-40 F4.0 L
I have using Canon 30D & 40D for the last 2 years since I decided to pursue photography seriously as a profession. If I am to do this, I really need to do it with professional equipment with great image quality. The 30D I have been using for the last 2 years just isn’t up to scratch, in terms of resolution, sensitivity, speed and feature set. It’s time for it to retire together with its lense, Tokina 16-50 f2.8. Even I know that camera is just a tool, however I am totally impressed by the quality of the full-frame camera.
I believe my investment is worth. Together with my new 5D MkII camera, 17-40 f4.0 L. I love this lense!
