I found myself writing a blog post is like writing a essay, a challenge for me that I actuially not goood at writing any article. However I still pefer to write something to compliment the images taken in one of my happiest assignment.
Susan & Ben are two wonderful clients and couple. Susan a doctor while Ben is a architect who work & stay at Brisbane. Our first meeting was 2 days before their wedding and I appreciate their trust on me , someone who never meet before. Here’s some photos taken on the first day. I was so tired as I could get enough sleep in the plane, but their warm hospitality really boost some energy in my body. I will share more of their wedding ceremony photos soon. Enjoy viewing.

Forget to mention , location is Gold Coast, Australia. I hope I could spend longer time there and surfing at Surfer Paradise…

Fine art in wedding.
Personally, I feel that I develop my style on a daily basis. The more pictures I take and the more time I spend in learning photography skill & in Photoshop, the more I begin to notice that I am using the same actions and the same techniques over and over again. Oh sure, there’s the occasional rogue image that I go crazy on, but for the most part I do pretty much the same thing to every picture that I shoot.
I recently read somewhere that photographers should be able to describe their own style. For the most part, when I talk about my “style” I’m speaking mainly about how I pose my models, how I use the light & what I do to a photograph in Photoshop. I look at what’s available to me and I try to make the best of it. However, when it comes to manipulating the image after the fact I have definitely found myself falling into the fine art in wedding photography. I actually think this is a good thing. Because unlike when I first started out. I now seem to have a consistency, my photographs look like my photographs.
Thanks for all my clients who giving me chances to develop my style.
October 23, 2009 - 12:45 - Well done CK ...I guess there is nothing more important for a photographer than having their own style. Fine art is cool and keep up the good work. Look forward for more pics from you. Cheers and thanks for sharing !
October 23, 2009 - 12:45 - Thanks for the comment. I will keep on improve myself.
Engagement Portrait : Winnie + Hing
Winnie, a pretty girl who booked my wedding photography service half year ago, Hing & I are from the same University (UNITEN). I knew this when we first met during the portrait session. Moreover, Hing’s younger brother is my friend too. I was totally feel suprise when I was informed about this. They are both lovely couple although they are not as talkative as me, while my job other than shooting is to make them feel comfortable, easy, enjoy the whole shooting session. I did enjoy the whole session and thanks to the extreme nice whether that day!
We meet up from their house and then we went to their first meet location, UNITEN. Everything as planned, and we found some nice spots in the campus. This was the place they met each other and their love story started here. Here’s the place, enjoy viewing!

We found a clean white wall to be our background, we had lot of fun there!
White wall again and we love it.
We able to find a great spot with flower & tree, nice color?
Then we drove to Putrajaya for the next shooting location. It’s my favorite shooting location for wedding!
I love this location, it create the “feel” for the photograph.
..and sky become darker…I love night shot too!
In addition, I am also their wedding photographer of their registration of marriage. Stay tune for the coming set of photos which taken on their ROM.
Editing in progress, stay tune!
#PS: I love fine art in wedding photography too,, stay tune for a few masterpieces of mine.
October 22, 2009 - 12:45 - wow...lovely album....nice dude..it's really nice...
The Magic : Before + After
As a wedding photographer which promises to deliver the best to my clients, I will post process the photos to enhance the color, contrast and white balance.
In addition, I would like to express the artistic side of mine by applying my imagination to a real photographs with my style!
This week’s slide show is going to take you through the magic of editing (post-processing) of a couple of photos I took recently.
Some of you posted (in the comments) that you’d like to see where the photo started and what is the outcome of the photos after my editing.
Personally, I love this before + afters so this was really a fun one for me to do.
So enjoy, leave a comment to let me know what you think, have a great day, and all that other stuff
